1. Focus on the present and clear your mind of non-RICA thoughts you may have
We all have a lot of things on our mind. Before entering the testing space, do a conscious check of how your feeling and remind yourself that you will have time to think of other things later, but now it’s time to focus on the test.
2. Read quickly, and read every word
You cannot comprehend that which you did not read. Specifically with test taking, you need to read every word because the RICA Test writers place an emphasis on everything that’s written. Each question includes a lot of information and oftentimes the most important aspect of the question can be the easiest to overlook.
You need to know each question in its entirety, but you also need to get through the test quickly. For this, read fast, and be focused.
3. Take notes
While taking the RICA Test, you are allowed to jot down things as they come up, both in your head as well as from the exam.
Use the scratch pad that is given in order to take notes to record important bits of information as you find them for both the multiple-choice section as well as the constructed-response section.
4. Look at structure
